Dear Rupert,
I have felt that Grace came to me innocently and offered this Divine connection. With this in mind, I find myself musing into this connection to find answers, so I am writing to you with a question that came to me today.
It’s about the body and its role in this Awakening. If spiritual embodiment is experienced in the body (which was my direct experience) the body must be aware and be open to the first of the signs and signals to the mind Knowing.
But, thinking back to your meditations, and my readings, and the “direct route” you speak of in recognizing Silence or Awareness, it seems to have no need for a body to experience it.
I recognize that it happens through the body, but is the body a vehicle here, not a transformational ground for the Awareness to be experienced? Maybe this is a chicken and the egg kind of question?
The body inherently knows balance, i.e., learning to ride a bicycle for the first time, and feeling the exhilaration of that balance. Balance is inherent in the body. And the experience of surrender, as in learning to swim, laying on your back, your arms outstretched, you feel the safety of the water holding you as your breath comes in and out, thus, allowing you to surrender. The body has an intelligence that can decipher and connect the dots.
I know that in 1984 my body felt an Awareness change prior to my mind recognizing it. It took a pause for my mind to catch up.
Probably splitting hairs here. And exposing my ignorance…..but I am curious as I don’t hear a lot of what role the body plays in this Awakening.
I will get this note off to you before I chicken out and crumple it up. Most of my musings aren’t quite this questioning. I will search out this answer in your videos and in your books and I am sure Grace will prevail with answers, as she always does!
With outstanding admiration for your clarity,
